The Challenge
What ProGreen Wanted
ProGreen wanted help getting their online search visibility back on track.
When ProGreen sought our help, their website was not thriving. In fact, a previous agency had rebuilt their website in a way that caused their visibility in search rankings to plummet. Instead of the boost to their business they were hoping for, they saw a decrease in traffic and conversions – not the best start for their brand revamp!
They also heavily relied on Google Ads, but these were not bringing in a profitable return, so wanted help from our PPC specialists to get their campaigns working for them.
The Challenge We Faced
When we first started working with ProGreen they had suffered a severe drop in Google rankings due to a new website launch.
After doing a little digging, we found their website didn’t have a 301 redirect plan (or at least not a very good one). This meant a percentage of traffic was being sent to their old website, which no longer existed. Bottom line: they were losing out on a lot of SEO value.
As for PPC, this was performing well during peak months, but performance was less desirable during the winter. This meant they were losing money.

We set to work fixing the technical SEO issues, which were causing Google to display thousands of 404 errors and duplicate content.
Shopping Campaigns
We spent time optimising their shopping campaigns, focusing on their most profitable products.
PPC
Before there was no clear budget plan or optimisation of seasonal products for the Google Ad campaigns. We optimised their PPC budget to strategically spend on best selling products that were in season. This proved much more effective than displaying all their products all of the time.
Content
We worked with ProGreen to optimise content across the website.
Social Media Marketing
Created a paid social campaign on Facebook to expand their customer base and acquisition.
We used lookalike, retargeting and cold audiences.
SEO
